April 17, 2012 by admin

Christine is the daughter of the former president of Liberia, William Tolbert, Jr., who was assassinated 1980.  After fleeing the war, Christine has returned to help her people, providing educational programs to the youth to build the country.  We stay at her guest home when in Liberia.

R.E.A.P. has a large parcel of land in Bensonville that has offices and a restored gymnasium with kitchen facilities that is used for training seminars and short term instructional camps for disadvantaged youth.  A farm project has begun to teach agriculture skills to Liberian youth.

Projects completed:

  • Gymnasium restoration

Projects needed:

  • Playground equipment for Bensonville facility
  • Assistance for a full time Agriculture teacher/director
